A FEEDBACK EXERCISE

THE FEEDBACK LETTER

This method can be used for anonymous group feedback with at least six members – it could e.g. be used within a team, a federation or team of coaches.

Paper cards and pencils are needed for this exercise.

Every participant is supposed to write one’s name on a card and put it upside down (name is not visible) on the ground. Next, mix the cards. Afterwards every person will grab a card without showing anybody the name on the card. Think about a positive and a constructive feedback for the person on the card and write it on the other side (plane side) of the card. Now put all the cards back on the ground with the name visible on the top.

Finally, everybody should find the card with his or her name and read the feedback either out loud or just quietly. Every person should inform the group if he or she can accept the feedback.
